Monday, December 13, 2004- I have been lax in my writing but my excuse this time is that I have been sick with pneumonia. It has been one of the worse bouts that I have had with a respiratory illness. But thank goodness I think I am finally our of the woods and ready to get on with my life. When I can’t do them, I can think of a multitude of projects that I want to do but then I seem to forget about them when I start getting better. Maybe, I will get some of them done this time. We had a good week end. Saturday we went shopping and shopped from noon till about ten o’clock that night. We started shopping at Graceville and ended up at Dothan. Needless to say we didn’t get home till after our bedtime. Yesterday, which was Sunday, I went to a Sacred Harp singing at Millers Cross Roads, Florida. It was called the “Old Folks Singing” and it was to honor everyone who has been singing fifty years or more. A large percentage of the folks there fit that category. The singing was really good even though there was not a very big crowd of singers. I left at noon after eating a fine lunch. Last evening we went to the Geneva Amateur Radio Society (GARS) Christmas party. It was a cookout, the food was good and we had a very good time.
